Attention all 5th-7th grade students. If you are interested in being a part of the IS/MS Student Council next year, please stop by the IS/MS office and pick up and application. Applications are due back to Mrs. Bakalars by May 5th.

The FFA Banquet is on Thursday April 20th in the High School Cafeteria. Everyone is encouraged to attend. Meal tickets at the door are $10 for adults, $8 for children 6 and up. FFA members and those under 6 years old eat free. There will also be door prizes and a live auction at the end of the banquet.
The Waterloo FFA Alumni is hosting a Pancake Breakfast on Sunday, April 23rd at the American Legion from 8 am-noon. All proceeds will benefit the Waterloo FFA . If you have any question contact Ms.Trescher.
The Waterloo Learning Fair (formerly known as the Science Fair) is only a month away. The fair will be held Wednesday, May 10th , 2017, from 5:30 – 7:00 in the high school gym, cafeteria, and entrance hall. All students in grades K-12 are encouraged to participate in this year’s fair. The time has come to choose, plan, and begin your projects. There are Science Fair websites under For Students>Technology Resources>Student Tools>Learning Fair on the district website. Each student will need to bring along a parent/guardian to the Learning Fair on May 10th in order to participate. See Mrs. Hecht, Mrs. Kopecky or Mrs. Sale for the Learning Fair Form. Mrs. Mortensen has tri-folds for $2.
Students are reminded that hoods are not allowed to be worn during the school day. Also with the warmer weather coming, its not a bad idea to review the dress code policy. Keep in mind, bra straps must be covered if you are wearing tank tops. Undergarments should not be showing.
Intermediate Students--Bag lunches will be required for the Milwaukee Zoo trip, Discovery World trip and UW Madison trip. If you would like to order a lunch through Food Service, orders must be turned into the office 3 days prior to the trip. Please see your Advisor or the office for an order form.
MIDDLE SCHOOL ANNOUNCEMENTS
Attention 8th Graders: If you are interested in being a Class Officer or Student Council Representative next year, please stop in the office to pick up a petition. Petitions are due back on April 20. It will take you a little time to complete, so don't wait for the last minute. Late petitions will not be accepted.
8th Graders--for the 8th Grade Recognition Ceremony, we are asking each student to bring in one baby/childhood picture and one recent picture of yourself. Pictures can either be emailed to Mrs. Lauersdorf at email@example.com or you can bring them in and we will scan them and return them to you. Pictures are due by May 1, but the sooner you can bring them in, the better.
