Rates for Rural Township of Waterloo Residents and Township of Portland Residents are now updated on enrollment forms. 

Township of Waterloo and Township of Portland Special Rates:

Township of Waterloo Residents (not City of Waterloo) qualify for a discount, supported by Township of Waterloo. Rate for 12 lessons $24.00 or 6 lessons $12.00 for first session for each swimmer includes all Tot Levels and Levels 1-6.

Township of Portland Residents qualify for a discount, supported by Township of Portland. Rate for 12 lessons $28.80 or 6  lessons $14.40 for 2 summer sessions for each school age swimmer in levels 1-6.

*Family admission fees are for up to six (6) family members living at the same address. Each additional member is $1.50 resident or $2.00 non-resident. Non-resident is defined as a person who lives outside the Waterloo School District.

Pool Policies

  • Proper ID (Day Pass, Punch Pass or Membership card) is required to enter the pool during open pool hours.
  • Children under the age of seven must be accompanied by an adult guardian in the water (within arms reach) and on deck at all times. One adult must be present for every 2 children under the age of seven. Children ages 7-11 must be accompanied by a parent or adult guardian on the premises. Adult is defined as anyone 18 years of age or older.
  • Swimmers must take a shower before entering the pool.
  • Swimmers must sign in with on duty lifeguard prior to swimming.
  • Swimming suits are required. No one is allowed to swim in cut-offs, spandex, sports bras or shorts.
  • Clean T-shirts may be worn over swimsuits.
  • No eyeglasses can be worn while in the pool.
  • Glass containers are not permitted in the facility.
  • No food or drink (not including water) on pool deck.
  • Absolutely no swimming without a lifeguard on duty.
  • Lifeguards reserve the right to implement additional rules and regulations to ensure patrons safety, those who do not comply will be asked to leave.
  • Waterloo Fitness Center reserves the right to revoke privileges to anyone who refuses to comply with the policies.
