Principal's Message
Welcome to Waterloo Middle School and the 2026-2027 school year!
I am excited about the opportunity to work alongside the students and staff at Waterloo Middle School. We are a tight-knit school community that provides opportunities for growth academically, socially, and personally. Our 30+ staff members work tirelessly and collaboratively to serve more than 220 students.
In addition to our core classes, students have opportunities to explore Spanish, STEM, technology education, business education, agriculture, music, art, physical education, and health. Beyond the classroom, we also offer a wide variety of sports and clubs for students to get involved in.
We have a dedicated veteran staff that strives to develop the whole child. We focus on academic rigor while also emphasizing social-emotional learning and adding in a bit of fun. Student engagement will continue to be a focus because engaged students are most likely to grow academically and socially. We strive to make Waterloo Middle School a place that both students and staff love being a part of.
As a school leader, my major focus is building positive relationships with students, staff, and families. I am an open communicator and solution-oriented. I believe in collaboration and that we are the best versions of ourselves when we are learning from each other.
Personally, I am a proud "girl dad" to my two daughters. They are involved in a wide variety of activities, and I enjoy supporting their interests. I am an avid Wisconsin sports fan and also love watching Liverpool. If there is any sort of competition, I'm game. My happy place is being at our family cottage. I look forward to being a Waterloo Pirate!
