Welcome to the Waterloo Food Service Department

Meal charges for the 2023-2024 school year are as follows:  Breakfast for 4K-4th grade is $1.55, $1.90 for 5th-12th grades and $2.60 for adult.  The lunch price is $3.10 for 4K-4th grade, $3.20 for 5th-8th grade, $3.30 for 9th-12 grade, $4.70 for adult, and entree only/salad bar $2.55. Reduced price breakfast is free (4K-4), $.30 (5-12), and reduced price lunch is $.40 (4K-12th grade).  A bag lunch (field trip) is priced the same as a regular lunch. Milk will be charged as normal at $.35 per carton. If your child qualifies for free/reduced meals through direct certification or application and is in the elementary school, they will qualify for free milk at the morning break.

Breakfast for grades 4K-8 is served from 7:30-7:50am. Elementary students eat in the MPR and IS/MS students eat in the high school cafeteria.

Students in grades 5 through 12 are able to get an extra entrée at breakfast and lunch but the family's food service account will be charged $1.50 per extra entrée including Free/Reduced accounts. If your child will be getting extra entrées, please put money in your family's food service account.

This school year we still expect to have significant problems with food supplies, so menus are subject to change.

Los cargos de la comida para el año 2023 – 2024 son los siguientes: Desayuno para grados 4K-4 es $1.55, $1.90 para grados 5-12 y $2.60 por adulto. El precio de almuerzo es $3.10 para los grados 4K-4, $3.20 para los grados 5-8, $3.30 para los grados 9-12, $4.70 por adulto, y solo plato fuerte/bar de ensaladas $2.55. El desayuno reducido es gratis (4K-4), $.30 (5-12), y el precio reducido para el almuerzo es $.40 (grados 4K-12). Un almuerzo en una bolsa (paseo/excursión) tiene el mismo precio que un almuerzo normal. Leche tendra en mismo precio de $.35 por carton. Si su hijo califica para comidas gratis o a precio reducido a través de certificación directa o solicitud y está en la escuela primaria, calificarán para leche gratis en el descanso de la mañana.

Desayuno para los grados 4K-8 se sirve de 7:30-7:50am. Los estudiantes de la Primaria comen en el MPR y estudiantes de IS/MS comen en la cafetería de la escuela Preparatoria. 

Estudiantes en los grados 5 – 12 pueden agarrar plato fuerte adicional en el desayuno y almuerzo, pero a la cuenta de familia se les cobrara $1.50 por el plato fuerte extra incluyendo las cuentas de lonche gratis/reducido. Si su hijo estará agarrando comida extra, por favor ponga dinero en su cuenta de servicio de alimentos familiar.
Este año escolar todavía esperamos tener problemas significativos con los suministros de alimentos, por lo que los menús están sujetos a cambios.

The letter must contain the complainant’s name, address, telephone number, and a written description of the alleged discriminatory action in sufficient detail to inform the Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights (ASCR) about the nature and date of an alleged civil rights violation. The completed AD-3027 form or letter must be submitted to USDA by:
