Principal's Message

Welcome to Waterloo Intermediate School/Middle School!

With more than 220 eager students and over 30 highly qualified and committed staff members that walk through our doors every morning, our focus is on learning. As a community of learners, we believe that every student will achieve at high levels and contribute greatly as productive citizens. Waterloo Intermediate School and Waterloo Middle School are great places for all students to learn. Students and staff are always striving to be better each day!

Our staff meet regularly in Professional Learning Communities in order to collaborate with our student’s needs at the forefront. Academics and social-emotional growth are strong areas of focus as students bridge their transition from elementary school to high school. We aim to challenge students through a rigorous curriculum that deepens understanding, has real-world applications, and focuses on building positive, life-long relationships.

Within our curriculum, we offer many diverse experiences in the classroom for students at the Intermediate and Middle School level. These opportunities include but are not limited to Spanish, STEM, technology education, business education, agriculture, music, art, physical education, health, and the core classes. Additionally, there is a wide range of athletics for students to participate in, along with activities such as FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America), FFA (Future Farmers of America), jazz band, solo & ensemble, student council, drama & musical productions, and art club.

Thank you for visiting our website and please contact our school at 920.478.2696 if you have any questions. Go Pirates!
